Founded in 2004, Chopper Worx is a helicopter air services company, appropriately licensed by the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) and offering a diverse range of specialised services primarily in the powerline industry, from short term flights to long term contracts including aerial cargo slinging (containers and non-containerized items), aerial survey and LiDAR services, vertifical reference flying and specialised aerial services utilized in the optimization of overhead powerline and telecommunication networks. 

Chopper Worx is also the pre-eminent air crane operator, increasingly being employed to roll out new powerlines in accessible or challenging terrain with unequalled speed and efficiency.

Our Head Office is located at Indigo Helibase, 221 London Lane in Centurion, 15Km NE of Lanseria Airport but operating throughout Africa, the Asia sub-continent and the Middle-East.

Our sister company Elektra Sky, also based in Centurion, specializes in the optimization, rehabilitation and upgrade of High Voltage Overhead powerlines under energized conditions, as well as the installation and termination of Fibre Optic telecommunication lines.
